Hi ya'll.
First post. I don't know what the hell I'm doing. This is my first blog - life has been crazy, though, so I wanted to have a space to vent or just document.
You see, my husband was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive cancer last fall. We're grateful that he almost immediately began treatment, but due to said uncommon nature of what he's dealing with, much of the treatment is out of state. He's so far made it out of chemotherapy (not unscathed), and is in the middle of radiation. Next step should be a surgery or three.
We have two kids - one high schooler and one middle schooler, so that complicates some things. He was also by far our breadwinner, which makes life even trickier as he's unable to work.
Husband has pretty much checked out of life at the moment, so that leaves me with much of the decision-making stress.
Life is hard, and I'm just along for the ride.
